The lake is always gorgeous, especially in the morning as the mist gently floats over the perfectly still waters. The silence broken only by the haunting call of a nearby loon. The forested mountains offering a dark silhouette against a starry sky streaked with pink and orange of the rising sun. Sitting at the end of the dock at 5am is one of my favorite experiences. One I will be looking forward to for many years to come.
We have been visiting every year for nearly decade now and this has become a treasured family getaway. The cottages are well maintained and have ample amenities. There is a clean sandy beach and a couple of docks for boat rentals and swimming. The grounds are well kept and consist of a grassy area and a small playground/swing-set. Dave, the proprietor, seems to always be of a sunny disposition. Offering a cheery "good morning" as he waters the beautiful flower beds and boxes that handsomely adorn all the sites.
Clean and rustic. David is very friendly. The sand beach is beautiful peaceful. We had a fantastic. Affordable visit .
