Ted & his team of highly trained Trek technicians (ninja level), restored my bike to new condition after a crash! - They are always available to exchange the latest technology on bikes & backcountry gear to keep you up to date & safe on the trail. Thanks Ted, (the other) Ted, & Leanne!

Nice people. Good bikes for rent. Ridiculous, almost criminal, rental rates. A road bike for a week was $260!?!? You can rent a car for less. Plus, they essentially tack on an extra day's charge to the rental. If you rent for a week, say take the bike on Wednesday and return it the following Wednesday, they charge for 8 days, not 7. Next time I'll rent a bike in Rochester, or Syracuse, or Utica and drive it up into the Adirondacks.

Ted really knows his stuff. Great to work with!

My only disappointment with the store is their rental policy. Equipment rental is charged per day, however per day means "store hour day". So, whether you rent skis at 9:00 am on a Friday or 4:00 pm on a Friday you need to have them back at 5:00 pm on Friday or you will be charged an additional day. I really think the rental should be on a 24 hour period and not a store hour period. If you rent something at 4:00 pm on Friday you should have until 4:00 pm the following day. I would have liked to give 4 stars however because of the disappointing rental policy I could only give 3.

Trashed my rear derailer on a Mtn bike ride. Great repairs at a reasonable rate. Thanks P & P

We went in for snow shoe and cross country ski rental. Service was fast and courteous though the person who helped us didn't really have an understanding of the equipment. She was able to fit for size and weight but beyond that her knowledge was lacking.

The store is nice, you can find general clothing and accessories that you need for outdoor adventures such as hiking, biking, skiing and snowshoeing. They carry shirts, hats, jackets, and socks. You can find a wide range accessories for your bike such as lights, mirrors, tubes, tires, and pumps. They also carry souvenirs for your home such as candles, picture frames and other trinkets. Nice store but definitely not a "hard core" sporting goods store.
